It’s that time of the year where seamstresses and bloggers show their made nine or most beloved patterns of the year. So when I looked at all uploaded pictures for my blog, I just couldn’t choose only nine ????
Therefor I like to show you a loved item each month of the year, most patterns drafted by myself. I hope you enjoy and thank you so much for following my blog.
Daarom wil ik je liever van elke maand mijn favouriete patroon tonen. De meeste patronen maakte ik zelf. Veel plezier en dankjewel dat je mijn blog volgt.

Based on the book “patternmagic” a top with a special knot.
Travel jersey (Lycra) is very popular here. I love the sporty pants. See my blogpost key item 2018
My favourite pattern for summer dresses is the cross dress. Made this pattern already in 2017. This one, in knit jersey, was my birthday dress.
Being part of the Itch to Stitch testing team, I really need to show this Plitvice top. The gorgeous waterfall neckline makes this shirt so stylish and definitely one of my favourite shirt for every occasion.
Again my favourite travel pants and a simple shirt with trompet sleeves. You can use a T-shirt pattern and just add a wider piece to the sleeves and gather them to the hem.
This coat is inspired on the pattern I made last year. Details about that you can find in this blogpost. Lined with stepped fabric it is perfect for changing seasons.
A simple dress with boatneck, the fabric is a scuba knit. Once you have a well fitting basic pattern, you can easily change details to get a different look of each dress. I always use my pattern to start designing a new dress, just change sleeves, necklines or skirts.
Joggers in pinstripes Ponte. I just love those cosy pants. The shirt is the Medellin of Itch to Stitch, again a great success pattern for tops.
The last pattern of the year for Itch to Stitch, the Busan Top with the statement sleeves. It is so lovely that I need to show this once again….
Besides all these garments I wanted a to make a festive dress to wear during the holidays. In my previous blog I already wrote the details about this pattern. Of course the dress needs to be included in this years overview.
